From Indigenous Cultivation to Pure Extraction, We Deliver Premium Tung Oil with Integrity and Innovation
What Is Tung Oil?
Tung oil, also known as China wood oil, is a drying oil obtained by pressing the seeds of the tung tree (Vernicia fordii). The use of Tung oil is believed to have originated in ancient China and can be traced back to the writings of Confucius from around 400 BC.
Upon exposure to air, Tung oil undergoes polymerisation, causing it to harden. The resulting coating is transparent and has a deep, almost wet appearance.
Tung oil is primarily used for finishing and protecting wood surfaces. With multiple coats, the finish can even resemble a plastic-like finish.
In the manufacturing industry, Tung oil finds applications in the production of premium-quality printing inks and coatings. Paint and varnish manufacturers often utilize Tung oil for this purpose.
To obtain 100% pure Tung oil, the kernels obtained from Tung wood are crushed during the extraction process.
Why Choose Us?
Unlike most competitors who import Tung oil and simply filter it before selling it in the market, our company undertakes the entire process from cultivation to final production.
Our approach involves growing Tung trees and managing the entire production process from scratch. This ensures that we have full control over the quality and integrity of the Tung oil we produce. By adopting this comprehensive approach, we can guarantee a truly indigenous and high-quality product.
Our approach involves pressing directly the tung seeds to get the pure oil and thus managing the entire production process from scratch. This ensures that we have full control over the quality and integrity of the Tung oil we produce. By adopting this comprehensive approach, we can guarantee a truly indigenous and high-quality product.
Further, we understand the significance of the “Make in India” initiative and aim to contribute to the country’s self-reliance by eliminating the need for Tung oil imports. Our vision aligns perfectly with the government’s vision, as we are committed to transforming India into an exporter of Tung oil rather than a mere importer.
To further promote the ‘Make in India’ initiative, we are actively collaborating with the government and relevant authorities to encourage and support farmers in cultivating tung trees. We are working closely with State Governments and Indian farmers to facilitate their access to support from the government’s annual Crop budget, enabling more farmers to embrace tung tree cultivation. This collaborative effort aims to maximize farmer earnings through the sale of tung seeds while fostering sustainable agricultural practices.
